January 30, 2024The National Productivity Centre commenced its 2024 Inter-Schools Productivity Debate at the Centre Headquarters’ Productivity Measurement Index Department on February 7th, 2024.
February 8, 2024The Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr Nasir Olaitan Raji-Mustapha, visited the Director of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Nigeria, Vanessa Phala, at the UN House in Abuja, on Monday, 30th January, 2024. This visit was aimed at reviving the relationship between the two organizations.
During the meeting, Dr. Raji-Mustapha provided an overview of the Centre’s programmes and activities. He appealed to the ILO Director and her team for support and partnership, particularly in the areas of financial and technical aid for various programmes as well as productivity movement in Nigeria; sustaining competitive and responsible enterprises(SCORE) programme; and creating a productive ecosystem for decent work.
In response, the ILO country director expressed their willingness to collaborate substantively with the Centre and provide support where needed.
The Director General was accompanied by various Directors from the Centre, such as those in Productivity Capacity Building, Consultancy and Business Development, Planning and Policy Analysis, Productivity Measurement and Index, Media, and Special Duties/State Coordination. Namely, Mrs. Titilola Oshati, Engr. Clifford Alisigwe, Mrs. Rosemary Esekhagbe, Engr. David Adejoh, and Mrs. Amezhi Apia, respectively. Mr. Victor Ainoko, the technical assistant to the Director General, was also present.
