March 12, 2024The National Productivity Centre commenced its 2024 Inter-Schools Productivity Debate at the Centre Headquarters’ Productivity Measurement Index Department on February 7th, 2024. The aim is to nurture the youth to become productive leaders of tomorrow.
The debate, themed “Brainstorming Improves Productivity more than 5s Good Housekeeping,” featured students from Premiere Academy and Government Secondary School (GSS) Mabushi as debaters.
The event was coordinated by the Corporate Affairs and Information Department under the leadership of Hajia Maimuna Musa Adaji and commenced with an opening remark by Director General Dr. Raji-Nasir Mustapha who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of the debate series in testing and enhancing the students’ knowledge of basic productivity tools and techniques.
GSS Mabushi emerged as the winner with a score of 32.99% over 50, while Premiere Academy scored 32.44%. The program concluded with a closing remark from Hajia Maimuna Adaji.
A plaque was awarded to the debate winner. The debate provided a platform for students to showcase their understanding of productivity concepts and techniques, fostering healthy competition and learning among the participating schools. The Center expressed commitment to making the debate series a national event, with plans to extend it to all the Zonal States in Nigeria.
